SERMs are a category of drugs, either synthetically produced or derived from a botanical supply, that act selectively as agonists or antagonists on the estrogen receptors at some stage in the body. The most normally prescribed SERMs are raloxifene and tamoxifen. Raloxifene exhibits oestrogen agonist interest on bone and lipids, and antagonist hobby on breast and the endometrium. Tamoxifen is in tremendous use for treatment of hormone touchy breast cancer. Raloxifene prevents vertebral fractures in postmenopausal, osteoporotic girls and reduces the risk of invasive breast cancer.
