• An artificial heart valve is a one-manner valve implanted into a person’s heart to replace a coronary heart valve that is not functioning nicely (valvular heart disorder). Artificial coronary heart valves may be separated into 3 broad training: mechanical coronary heart valves, bioprosthetic tissue valves and engineered tissue valves.

• The human heart carries 4 valves: tricuspid valve, pulmonary valve, mitral valve and aortic valve. Their fundamental cause is to maintain blood flowing within the right direction through the coronary heart, and from the coronary heart into the important blood vessels linked to it (the pulmonary artery and the aorta).
